The Standing Parliamentary Committee on Energy and Minerals, led by its Chairperson Hon. Subira Mgalu (MP) accompanied by the Minister of Energy, Hon. Deogratius Ndejembi arrived at the Regional Commissioner’s Office in Shinyanga today March 13, 2026. The delegation was received by the Acting Regional Commissioner, Hon. Julius Mtatilo, who is also the District Commissioner of Shinyanga.

The Committee’s visit to Shinyanga Region is part of its ongoing activities to inspect and monitor various energy sector projects being implemented in the region.
